Sales Tax


Shipping & Sales Tax

Shipping charges is calculated based on the total amount of the purchase.

Normally, all orders will be shipped out within 48 business hours during weekdays. Order placed on Friday will be processed the following business day. 

Shipping Methods:

Canada Post (Regular Mail)

Within Canada - 1 to 10 business days

To USA - 2 to 12 business days

** All shipping charge is for North America City ONLY. **

To Anywhere else, please email us to inquire about shipping rates.

Shipping Confirmation: We will send the shipping confirmation to you by email after the courier pick up your order. The shipping time will start to count on the next business day.

Sales Tax

Any order with shipping address outside of Canada is tax exempted.

For order ship to any Canadian provinces or territories, tax will be collected on the total amount of the order, in accordance to the GST or HST rate applied in that region.

Return Policy & Warranty

Han Star makes every effort to ensure that customer will receive the ordered merchandise in good condition. If however, the product is defective, damaged or wrong item, they can request a Return Authorization from Han Star. 

Damaged Items:

Please examine the products immediately upon receipt. All damaged claims must be initiated within 48 hours. Please email to info@hanstar.ca or call us at 905-470-8884, so that we can contact the carrier immediately. After we receive the confirmation of the claim from the carrier, we will either send you a replacement or a refund. Some carrier offer a very short claim period. Therefore it is vital to report the claim ASAP. Please keep the damaged merchandise, the packaging and the materials. Once the claim from the carrier is confirmed, they will inform you of the handling of the damaged merchandise.

Defective Item:

If an item is defective, please email to info@hanstar.ca or call us at 905-470-8884 within 7 days of delivery. We will send you the instructions and the Return Authorization Number for the defective item.

Wrong Item:

If you received wrong merchandise, please email to info@hanstar.ca or call us at 905-470-8884, we will send you the return instructions and the Return Authorization Number for the wrong item. 

Unwanted merchandise:

Unwanted merchandise may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Merchandise to be returned must be in new, unused and untested condition, with the original box/packaging, all accessories and paper work enclosed. Please email to info@hanstar.ca or call us at 905-470-8884, we will send you the Return Authorization Number. After we have received and inspected the product, we will process the refund. Original shipping and handling and return postage is the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded. No refund will be given for merchandise that cannot be sold as new.

Limited Warranty on Thermal Cooker

5 years warranty on Vacuum Insulation

We will, at our option, repair or replace any product component part that fails to conform to this warranty within 30 days after receipt by our service department. IN NO EVENT WILL HAN STAR OR THERMOS BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.

We assume your consent for our company to use this information in an appropriate manner.

Han Star takes all precaution to safe guard information trusted to our company.

We do not sell Customer/Coordinator information to anyone. Nor do we share Customer/Coordinators information with organizations outside of our member companies that would use it to contact you about their own products or services.

All employees, Independent Coordinators and suppliers who are granted access to our records understand the need to keep this information protected and confidential. They know they are to use the information only for the purposed intended.
